The Portland 10MPF is an event MWHAO produces three times a year featuring eight original, new plays written, directed and performed by Portland artists - with a live band, junglecorp, performing in-between each play! Every play is ten minutes or less and all are performed each performance night. It's a very fun, well attended event and there is nothing else like it in the city. We are theater for everybody: only charging 5 bucks a ticket and we have an open-door policy where anyone can submit a play or try out to be involved. These are your stories, Portland!

In the Shadows 10MPF you will experience the ridiculous lengths someone will go to get rid of their shadow, a not-so-traditional therapy group for those who live in their family's shadows, one woman's showdown with her crafty shadow side and a feisty inner demon, a wild trial between Peter Pan and his shadow, two cell mates wasting away in a dystopian prison, the dark tale of what happens in the underbelly of 1828 Edinburgh, the shadow of a famous fantasy character who is trying to save the character's #1 fan, and the quirky childhood monster that still lurks under your bed.

This play festival will feature music from the awesome local band junglecorp - with their new, Shadows-themed rock opera story performed in-between each of the plays

The show runs 2.5 hours with a 15 minute intermission.
