We are raising money to purchase stage lights, and we need YOU – supporters of Monkey With a Hat On – to come out to our variety show fundraiser!

At the fundraiser we will have a line-up of live theatrical and musical entertainment. We will also be selling raffle tickets for a whole heap of silly, fun prizes!

Entertainment:

A blindfolded violin player, Portland’s favorite elderly couple Gigi and Wilshire, an improv troupe, an I Love Lucy skit, “Teeth in the Wrong Places” – a puppet show, a skit about a man and his dog, a PBS call-in fundraiser, and MORE!

With musical interludes by our Variety Show Fundraiser house band – Not Druids!

Raffle:

Prizes are: art pieces, donuts, gift certificates to local spots, toys, knick-knacks, tic-tacs, signed copies of “God is Disappointed in You”, tickets to Monkey shows, tickets to other local entertainment, local recording artist albums, comic books, and MORE!

Raffle tickets are a buck a ticket, or 20 tickets for $10, and we will sell them the day of the show.

It makes no sense monkey for us to rent out lights for every performance – we could have almost already purchased lights for how many shows we had last year! So, as we graduate from Monkey U, we want to have our own set of nice, theatrical lights to use for our shows for many years to come.
